I am absolutely amazed with the quality games being sent in lately. When I got an email from Alper Sarikaya asking me to take a look at his new  action RPG ‘Sword of  Xolan‘, I was like ‘You had me at hello’.  It’s the kind of game you don’t think twice about reviewing.
The high caliber of work this one man army has been able to produce is impressive. This dude seriously needs a medal.  I have no doubt this game will be a hit among the action RPG fans. Personally I’m pretty damn excited.

The game is launching next Thursday on iOS (21 May 2015). It’s a premium game which will launch with a humble price tag of 0.99 cents, with no IAP or BS, very generous indeed.
30 handcrafted levels,  massive bosses, a smorgasbord  of enemies, all hitting the your retna in delicious pixel art.

The game seems very similar to Goblin Sword, by Gelato games.  This is a good thing though, because Goblin sword was fantastic and one of my fav iOS games to date.
There will also MFI controller support which is great to hear.
