I love RPG’s. I love big grand adventures that suck me in with their deep and complex stories and multi-layered mechanics.
But sometimes I just want a simple and casual game for the train ride home. Something that I can play one handed as I walk down the street that isn’t going to get me run over by a bus.

Released just last week, Mr Muscle is a suitable candidate for this job.

It’s a simple one finger timing game where you must slice a block that moves across the screen, the fragment divisions then weight down either the left or right dumbbells held by your character, the legendary Czech wrestler Gustav Fristensky.

Mr. Muscle by Flow Studio is available for iOS and Android devices as a free universal app (with ads). The game is vaguely reminiscent of  The Tower.

Super casual fun with some very very clean graphics. The ads are pretty infrequent and don’t really get in the way, although I think it would have been more effective with a reward for continue.

Well worth a look.
